STEP-HBTI is running a full time 2 year MBA Programme approved by AICTE, Govt. of India and affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow. STEP-HBTI has total intake of 180 in MBA Programme. The admissions are made through UPCET conducted by Dr. APJAK Technical University, Lucknow. Admissions to MBA first year are made as per the rules prescribed by the Academic Council of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The students are also admitted against laps/Direct admission through advertisement if any.
The total duration of the course is of 2 years, divided into four semesters. A student is offered dual specialization from the six specialization courses.
There shall be two regular semester in one academic year. The semester that begins in July(July to December)is known as odd semester and the one that begins in January(January to May)is known as Even Semester.
The fees can be paid through demand draft in favor of STEP-HBTI, payable at Kanpur at the time of admission and MBA 1st year fees is Rs. 1,12,240/-
Students admitted to the two year MBA course shall pursue the regular course of lectures and other academic arrangements made for the two year academic term.
A student shall be deemed to have pursued a regular course of study in a subject provided he / she attained the minimum requirement as per DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow norms of the lectures delivered in each subject of his / her first / second / third and fourth semester’s course of study.
It is mandatory for all the student to register themselves for each semester failing which the student have to submit Rs.100/ per day as late registration fee.
