Foreign Language Course was started in September, 2012. We teach 2 languages French & German. It is one year programme. There are 60 seats for each language. It is on the first come first basis. Minimum qualification for the course is 12th. Though this course is not affiliated to ALLIANÇE FRANÇAISE or GOETHA INSTITUTE, head office in Delhi, we follow the books of A1 level i.e., certificate course. It is a two-semester course with 5 contact hrs per week. There are 60 lectures per semester, one lecture is of 1hr 15 minutes. Classes are four days in a week. Classes are conducted in the evening. Course starts around third week of August and completes around second week of March. Exams are conducted 4 times in year, 2 exams per semester one of 50 marks and other of 100 marks. It means one semester is of 150 marks. Total marks for the complete year are 300.Classes as well as the exams are conducted in STEP-HBTI only.
Fees for certificate course are Rs 12,500 and 50% concession is given to current students of STEP-HBTI and HBTU.
